I think many tourists have heard of Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice.
Honestly, I am not a fan of chicken rice because my mom often bought me chicken rice for lunch during my teenage years. It was too frequent that I got sick of it…
I used to live in Tanjong Pagar area and I have never tried Tian Tian Chicken Rice. I have heard it was recommended in Michelin Guide Book but I do not like queuing for too long…
I finally tried it after I left Singapore.
I went back Singapore, last August for a friend’s baby 100 days celebration.
I order chicken rice (chicken breast, need to inform the staff) @ SGD 3.50 & bean sprouts @ SGD 2.00. Total of SGD 5.50.

I do not think there is the right way to eat chicken rice. Everyone has their preference. Some people like it with all the sauces (Chilli sauce , dark soya sauce & ginger paste). Others might just like it with one sauce.
I prefer it with both chilli and dark soya sauce.
Apparently, there are a few outlets in Singapore but I went to the main outlet as it was nearest to my hotel.
There is a new outlet at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. I have yet tried it. I might try it some day. It is the fancier version from Singapore though.
