For my Japan trips, my husband does all the reservation for hotels. For all the obvious reason, he’s Japanese. He would know which website to book from. Agoda.com doesn’t provide a good price.
In June, we were back in Japan for a simple wedding reception. We went to visit Mount Fuji, kind of…
We stayed at Fujikawaguchiko Resort & Spa, also known as Kukuna Hotel. We got the Japanese style room with dinner & breakfast package. It was really a great stay. The view was breathtaking. The picture of Mount Fuji was taken from my Panasonic GF2.
The room was amazing with a good view of Mount Fuji while you take a hot bath.
This is the view that you see from the room.
By day, it is a living room.
By night, the staff would setup the futon for us.
The teppanyaki is a must try. My husband was so happy with the food. Chef was very impressive with his details and the effort he took to ensure comfort of all the customers. We had a conversation with the Chef. He thought we were students!
Menu for the night
Amazing food. I finished everything.
Lobster.
The beef just melted in my mouth!!
The staff was so thoughtful. They realized we just got married and presented us this!
We also tried the private bath.
The breakfast was amazing too. They served natto but it was all gone when we wanted…
Overall, very satisfied with our stay. We booked from http://www.ikyu.com/. It would be easier if you read Japanese. There are a lot of options to choose from while agoda.com only has 3 options with no dinner & breakfast package.
Till then, I will update more about my Japan adventure.
Looks amazing! Was the bed/futon comfortable though?

Hi Anisa, the futon was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. Give it a try if you are in Japan.
