Instead of memorising, learn through play.
Growing up in Asia, learning has always been about memorising. It doesn’t work for everyone. I understand that and hope to provide an environment where my kids will learn through play.
Visual aids are good for both neurotypical and neurodivergent.
I tried to teach through songs and videos initially. Took a long time but they were only four and two then. I also have to teach them in 3 languages. Just have to take it slow, I guess.
Finding teaching materials in 3 languages is quite a challenge too. We just have to be flexible and creative.
