Trying to cook more at home as husband is missing Japan.
Hence, I thought we can have takoyaki (Octopus balls) at home. Baby can also try it.
Apparently, not all Japanese knows how to make takoyaki. Or maybe it’s just my husband. He told me he had never done it before.
I took takoyaki cooking class previously at ABC Cooking Studio. Hence, I decided to give it a try. I got the takoyaki pan instead of buying hot plate machine from Bruno. Wanted to reduce the number of cooking electronics at home.
Found this at HKTVMall for less than HKD 200.
Got the pre-packed takoyaki set from City’Super
Also got the pre-mixed karaage from City’Super
Most important is the skills of making it. The pre-mixed set does come with Japanese instructions
It’s a lot of working and cleaning afterwards but husband and baby enjoyed the food. I am happy.
