Okinawa is one of my favourite places to visit.
We have a friend working in Okinawa and we promised to visit him someday. He wanted to show us the beauty of Okinawa. I was glad that we did.
He brought us around and showed us the history of Okinawa. It was not just food and beach. I am very thankful to have learned so much history and culture. I will blog about the history in another post.
This post is about tonkatsu restaurant we went and it was so good. Tonkatsu is a Japanese dish which consists of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet. The two main types are fillet and loin. It is often served with shredded cabbage.

It was a well furnished restaurant, nice environment to dine in. I did not take much pictures but managed to find some online and sharing them.
If you ever visit Okinawa, give Tonton Jacky a try.
Till then…
Great post 😁
