6 Years with SKII Skincare Review

I have been using SK-II for 6 years. Before SKII, I had oily skin.

First 2 years with SKII was great, skin became normal.
3rd year, my skin became dry.
4th year onwards, I had sensitive skin.
6th year, skin was dehydrated & skin peeling off. It hurts when I apply anything.

Hence, I decided to stop using SKII after struggling for so many years. Took me years to quit SKII because it gave me great results for the first 2 years. I couldn’t understand why it didn’t work after my third year with SKII.

The amount of effort and money that I put in… My husband, washes his face with water and his skin is flawless…

It was a very hard decision because I believed in SKII so much. I could not accept the fact that my skin is no longer suitable with SKII. The results for the first 2 years has been great. Normal skin with minimized pores.

I went to the dermatologist but he told me my skin wasn’t a major issue. He gave me items that I could get it over the counter… I didn’t go back for the second checkup…

I did use the products I got from the dermatologist to calm my skin before I explore on my own.

Currently, I am using both Chanel, Shiseido and Clinique skincare. My skin has been less irritated but the pores are still visible. I hope to find products to reduce the pores instead of seeking medical devices for solution.

I learnt that the most important step is to remove and cleanse the skin properly.

Heading for Chanel facial appointment next week. I hope it is as good as Chanel facial in Singapore.
