A short trip back to do shopping, visiting family & friends.
Very tight schedule… I usually get a data SIM card during my visit to Japan (2 weeks). However, saw this post on FaceBook and thought I should give it a try.
Currently, they are having promotion. They only start charging on the second day of the trip. Hence, it’s only SGD20 for my 5 days trip. Much cheaper than my data SIM (SGD 40) for 2 weeks.
It was really convenient to pickup the wifi router for me at Terminal 3
The counter at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Arrival Hall
I could start using my phone once I touched down Tokyo. I just need to turn on and connect to the wifi router with the password provided on the router. The connection was good and stable. I had no issue.
When I got back to Singapore, the counter was just outside of the arrival gate, very convenient. Just book everything online instead of calling their hotline. The hotline just put you to voicemail.
Day 1 in Singapore/Tokyo
I took 8am flight and reached Tokyo at 4pm. Got to the hotel (Tokyo Marrriott Hotel) to meet my husband before heading out for dinner with friends at 響丸の内店 (Hibiki Marunouchi outlet).
I realized I did not take any pictures of the food. All I can say is, please try the tofu if you visit any of their outlet.

Day 2 in Tokyo/Nagoya
I was suppose to visit the Yoyogi Park and cycle in the morning. However, the weather was too hot for me and I decide to just do some window shopping.
I did a lot of walking in a day
My husband wanted to give me a makeover since last year Christmas. I wanted to do shopping with him. If I buy, it would be t-shirts and jeans. However, I did buy 2 pair of Nike white sneakers at ABC Mart while shopping by myself. It is the best place to shop for shoes for me.
Nike Women GTS ’16 Leather (Tokyo)
I also went to Loft @ Shibuya (7 floors) to shop for souvenirs
After shopping, I went for Keisuke Ramen that I missed in January this year.
Afterwards, I continued shopping at Tokyo Station before I met my husband to take shinkansen to Nagoya.

Day 3 in Nagoya/Gifu
Woke up and took a train to get my 2nd pair of sneakers
Nike Air Force 1 High Cut Female (Nagoya)
Did a quick lunch with one of Yasu’s brother and took the train to Gifu in the evening. Yasu’s parents were really nice to pickup us and prepared dinner.
Day 4 in Gifu/Nagashima/Centrair
We visited our friends in Gifu and their son, Soma.
Like father, like son
Trying to take a picture with Soma
Yo chan is always so kind to prepare some food during our visit
Afterwards, we drove to Jazz Dream Nagashima Outlet Mall, for shopping.
Some clothes that I got as last year’s Christmas gift from my husband.
Tomorrowland Pants (¥16,000)
Tomorrowland – Des Pres (¥17,280)
Prices stated are the selling price but we got discount as we bought from outlet mall & tax refund. After shopping for 5 hours (3pm – 8pm), we drove to Centrair airport and spend a night at Comfort Hotel.
It is located next to Centrair airport, very convenient.
For a night
Day 5 in Centrair/Singapore
Woke up at 7am to have breakfast before checking out and head to airport (5 minutes walk)

Till then…
That’s a good tip for using the router. So far nobody we know have used this. Did you have to wait for a long time to return the device when back in Singapore as some others suggested?

Hi there,
Returning took less than 3 minutes. There was only 1 person in front of me. That’s why I had to wait for a while
When it was my turn, they just checked the device and other accessories to make sure they are all in the pouch and I made the payment in cash.
I guess it depends on the time you got back to Changi airport. I was there on a Sunday evening, around 5pm. There wasn’t much crowd.

Thanks! We are considering this when we leave for Seoul and Busan coming Friday. We can activate it from the day we want to right?

No problem. You can start using it only when you are in the designated country for the router.
They don’t charge you for the collection date. The charges only start on the following day.
